If you’re working with quite a tight budget then I recommend you check out the live resin carts at TREHouse because, if you’re buying single carts, TREHouse offers the absolute best prices on live resin vape carts.
The effects aren’t quite as strong as the other carts on this list, but they do offer pretty decent potencies (and that great live resin taste), which makes a decent trade-off for the affordability offered.
The lower potency does mean that they won’t last very long for those with higher tolerances, but the lower cost means that you’ll be able to get more carts for your money – a slight inconvenience. Lighter vapers, day tokers, and beginner’s, however, might prefer the lighter effects offered by these carts.
Among the cannabinoids offered by TREHouse are Delta 8, HHC, THC-P, and a D8 blend, but check the lab reports as the THC-P cart actually has D8, D10, and THC-P, while the D8 blend (advertised to contain D8, D10, and THC-P) actually contains D8, D10, and THC-O.
The mislabeling is confusing and a bit off-putting (I’ve emailed them about it), but for the effects and price offered, I still believe they have a place on this list.
In fact, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed their Grape Ape HHC live resin cart. This cart perfectly encapsulates the high I think of when I think of HHC. A feeling of warmth enveloped me and the buzz spread quickly from my body to my mind and left me with a relaxed smile on my face.
But my favorite cart was the Ice Cream Cake Delta 8 blend. 5. Delta Extrax
Delta Extrax earned their spot on this list because their HXY-11 THC live resin cart is one of my favorites. For those who may not know, HXY-11 THC is a natural, biological product that forms following the ingestion of edible THC. When vaped, it produces similar effects to what you’d feel from eating an edible, which is a bit more psychedelic than most other forms of THC (learn more about the effects of different legal highs here). With this cart you can get the (usually 40-60 minutes) edible experience in under a minute and it hits you as hard as it does fast.
The live resin terpene blend used in these carts is also fantastic. Not only was the GSC cart potent, but it actually tasted exactly like a Thin Mint should. That sweet minty flavor gave me a much-needed case of the munchies, perfect if you need a little boost to your appetite. Couple that with some next-level euphoria, and you know all my snacks tasted out of this world.
Their Wreck’d Series blend of THCa and THC-P had me feeling very relaxed and the effects came on quickly, but, in all honesty, I was expecting something much harder hitting (considering the name). It’s still a great purchase (unique and satisfying high at a great price), but I’d caution you to ignore the name and manage your expectations to align with the price.
The high is mellow and relaxing, not overly euphoric or overwhelming. With just a few puffs, these live resin carts got me to a beautifully content and calm level, but not at all lazy. As I said, the onset of effects was much quicker than I expected, but they also lasted beyond the usual threshold for Delta 8.
My one complaint is that I notice these carts tend to clog more than some of the others on this list. But, on the flip side, if you run into issues with a cart from Delta Extrax, their fantastic customer service team will happily go out of their way to make things right. There’s no better way for a company to prove their commitment to customer satisfaction.

With a more artisanal approach to hemp and cannabis, Secret Nature doesn’t have the largest cannabinoid selection available, but what they do do, they do extremely well. These carts are ideal for those of you that want the highest quality possible and are willing to pay for a more luxury experience.
For me, the price is too high to be buying all the time, but I do like to treat myself from time to time (and when I do, Secret Nature is my go-to brand).
Plus, Secret Nature’s live resin carts just happen to include some of my all-time favorite strains.
They only have CBD and Delta 8 live resin carts available at the moment, but if you’re willing to consider disposable vapes too (sorry environment), then your choice of cannabinoids will broaden to include THCa and THCv (also highly recommended!).

One complaint I’ve heard on the grapevine is that their customer service team can be a little slow. This could prove to be a problem if you receive a defective cartridge in the mail as you might be kept waiting a while before you get sent another. But I’ve never had anything but 5* products from this brand, so I haven’t had this experience.

How to choose the best live resin cart brands
If you want to make sure that you’re buying from the best live resin cart brands on the market then it’s important you know what to look for and then spend the time doing your research.
I’ve shared my favorite live resin brands in the list above (taking the hard work out of the search) but if you want to do some investigating of your own, then check out the following tips on what to look for.
Third party lab testing
The most important item on your list, when shopping for live resin vape carts, should be to locate the brand’s third party lab test results. If these aren’t readily available on their website, I would immediately take my business elsewhere.
The lab reports will verify the cannabinoid content of the product in question, so you know exactly what you’re getting. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come across companies that
- Claim to be third-party lab tested but the reports are nowhere to be seen, or,
- Have a much lower cannabinoid potency than advertised
Some companies will go a step further by testing their products for potency and purity. Not only do these tests allow you to verify that the potency is in line with your expectations, but you can also confirm that the cartridge is free from any harmful contaminants, including pesticides, heavy metals, and other foreign matter.
When it comes to live resin carts, it’s important to pay extra attention to the residual solvents testing as the live resin extraction process does involve the use of solvents.
In my experience, the best brands for live resin vape carts are always transparent when it comes to the results of their third party lab testing. As I said, sometimes what’s advertised on the box isn’t always in line with what the testing shows, and products can change from one batch to the next. That’s why it’s so important to review the results with your own eyes (and also why I never buy hemp products from gas stations).
Quality
High quality ingredients are the basis for high quality products. Trustworthy brands are transparent about the ingredients included in their products, as well as the processes that were utilized to obtain them.
It’s important that you purchase live resin carts from brands that take care in sourcing high quality, organic ingredients from the USA. Some artisanal brands in particular have exceptional control over their product quality, as they’re closer to the entire process from seed to table.
Reputation
A brand’s reputation within the hemp industry can speak volumes about what to expect from them. But a brand’s reputation among their customers can reveal even more.
How many five star reviews do they have (keeping in mind not to discriminate against new brands)? What do the other reviews say about them? How do they respond to customers?

How to vape live resin for the best experience
If you’re forking out a little extra on a live resin cart, you’ll no doubt want to make sure you get the best experience possible. So, here’s some more information on what voltage/temp to use when you’ve got your new live resin cart locked and loaded.
Best voltage for live resin carts
Lower to middle range voltages tend to be best for vaping live resin carts. Anywhere between 2.5V-3.3V, which is pretty standard for most vape batteries, is where you’ll find your sweet spot.
Best temp for live resin carts
In line with voltage, lower to middle range temperatures are ideal for vaping live resin carts. I would recommend starting out around 315℉ and working your way up until you find the right hit for you, but never exceeding 400℉.

Are live resin carts really better?
At the end of the day, it will come down to personal taste whether you like live resin carts better than other options. It is generally accepted that live resin terpenes yield superior taste and smell, but some people prefer live rosin to live resin and others still claim to prefer artificial flavors(!).
Are live resin carts healthier?
There’s no significant evidence to argue that live resin is healthier to vape than other types of extracts or terpenes. Compared to smoking flower, however, a clean (purity tested), live resin cart is a healthier option for your lungs, because smoking involves combusting plant material (which releases carcinogenic toxins).
Does live resin get you higher than normal carts?
Some people argue that live resin carts do induce a greater high due to the natural cannabinoid and terpene synergies at play but, ultimately, the total THC content of a cart will play a more influential role in how high you get.
Checking the lab reports to find out what percentage of the cart is made up of psychoactive cannabinoids is the best indicator as to how high you might get. But live resin enthusiasts will tell you that the presence of other natural cannabinoids and terpenes (found in live resin) contribute to more unique and enjoyable high.
Are live resin carts worth the extra money?
When it comes to carts (and hemp/cannabis products in general), I’m willing to spend a little more money on higher quality products in order to get a better experience . For this reason, I believe that live resin carts are worth more because I value a tastier vaping experience, as well as authentic strain flavors.
As long as you see the benefits of live resin carts and enjoy them more (after trying them), then they’re definitely worth shelling out the extra cash.
Do live resin carts smell stronger?
Yes, decent live resin carts do have a stronger smell than normal carts. Stronger smell and taste are two of the main factors that distinguish live resin from other types of distillates.
Can live resin carts be fake?
Unfortunately, live resin carts can be fake. I’ve heard of brands being accused of making false claims (about using live resin) and about “copy carts” being released (designed to look like a reputable brand’s product). This is why live resin hits harder than your average run of the mill vape cart.
